Mass Media coverage of digital piracy.
To the left is a youtube video published by "Entertainment tonight" of artists directly telling their opinions on piracy and how it effects them financially and emotionally.
This video clearly demonstrates how piracy is extremely damaging to artists even at high level music.
It's become such a problem that during that video its said "We sent out 10,000,000 cease and desist orders" Now that stunning figure shows just how wide scale the issue of piracy is and how much money it costs, not only in lost revenue but in legal fees from trying to enforce copyright law.
This article helps to provide scale and it also shows the lengths and size of piracy around the world.
